The title of Julie's presentation is "Create Better Business Relationships Using DiSC®"

Creating and maintaining good relationships with people is a fundamental part of building a business. Whether it’s with your work colleagues, your business network, prospective clients, existing clients or suppliers, getting on well with different types of people is essential!

Sometimes when you communicate with people, there’s a natural connection! You 'gel'! It’s as if you’ve known them all your life!

At other times it’s as if the person is from another planet!

In this informative and lively presentation, Julie French will give you insights about your self and other people that will help you to understand why different people respond the way they do and what you can do to adapt your behaviour to create better relationships.

Contribution - making a difference in the world as you network and learn!

As well as the benefits you will receive directly by attending Stafford Ecademy meetings, you will also be contributing to a good cause through paying a tenner on the door.

Each month, any monies left, once the room hire and coffees have been settled for, will be donated to a particular charity. The more people who attend, the more we can donate to a charity.

If you have in mind a charity you would like to nominate at any time to benefit in this way, please call Tony Burgess on 07989 469 570 and we may be able to schedule it in to benefit from a particular month's meeting.

Over the last couple of years we have benefitted quite a number of charities and as numbers attending continue to rise, we can donate more and more to good causes.

Isn't it great to know that as you network and as you learn you are also making a real positive difference in the world, just by being at the meeting!

Letter to Julie French, Director of Academy of High Achievers Ltd in Feb 2007:

Dear Julie

Can I express a massive thank you for donating the money raised at Ecademy this February. We are so grateful that you thought of us and the donation of over £200 was just wonderful.

In addition to this I could see that the evening was a huge success and I really enjoyed it - it definitely gave me some food for thought!

Once again, thank you so much for your support; all your efforts really do make an important contribution in helping us to raise 85% of the £1.6 million needed to run the hospice every year.

Best wishes

Letter to Tony Burgess, Director of Academy of High Achievers Ltd in May 2009:

On behalf of the National Alliance of Childhood Cancer Parent Organisations (NACCPO) I would like to say a big THANK YOU for the wonderful donation of £162.50 from Stafford Ecademy.

As a small charity we are very much reliant on the generosity of organisations like yourselves to continue our work helping families whose children have cancer.

We receive no Government or statutory funding and therefore every penny donated makes a huge difference to the charity.

Please pass on my thanks to all concerned and suffice to say that the funds will be put to good use.

For more information about NACCPO please go to www.naccpo.org.uk

Rachael Olley NACCPO Operations Manager
