About the Charity:

Aims of the Foundation

1. To raise monies in order to erect a permanent memorial of
Sir Stanley Matthews at the Britannia Stadium,Stoke-on-Trent.

2. To help both disadvantaged individuals and groups of youngsters
to participate in sporting activity.

The Foundation aims to provide instructors and equipment in selected
areas of the local community helping to provide the opportunity for
disadvantaged youngsters to participate in a cross-section of
sporting activities.

The Foundation also aims to help talented individuals who wish to progress in a sporting discipline but their families struggle to find the necessary funds to pay for coaching or equipment.
